SecretAgentMan by Richard Saunders – Chain Building Advice

Author Richard Saunders has completed Phase I where he has solicited almost everyone he knows and informed them about this project. Saunders has met his goal of personally recruiting over thirty individuals to support his project and pre-order his novel. Although he will continue to attempt to add more supporters himself, he only has a very limited number of prospects left. At this point, he now must rely more heavily on the existing supporters to build their "Chains of Support" in order for SecretAgentMan to meet the funding goal with the publisher. We will need 25 to 30 chains all going around 8 to 10 people deep (on average) in order to achieve the ultimate goal of winning a publishing contract at Inkshares.

If Saunders was able to recruit over 30 supporters by himself, then surely most of his current supporters are capable of getting JUST ONE! That's all it will take to build these chains and make this dream come true. Saunders can't do it without your help!

The following are some tips to take into consideration when you approach someone and talk to them about this project. A one on one, person to person conversation is the best way to secure that ONE supporter. If you can get two or more, that's great but all it takes is ONE to keep moving the chains forward.

Good luck and Thank You Very Much for supporting this worthwhile effort!

They three key points to convey to a prospect when you are attempting to build your chain or just recruit One Person are:

#1. The "wow factor" (IS HUGE!)

This book is a Publicity Departments dream! Once it is released and the publisher starts their publicity campaign, the media will love the fact that the book is infused with lots of highly-compelling publicity "hooks" and celebrity tie ins. The media will Jump All Over This! (Even more than they did when Rich Saunders battled Donald Trump and his legal teams)

So all backers and chain builders should get familiar with the three Big Publicity hooks that we are starting with. Read the Dan Brown, Governor William Weld and Donald Trump stories that you will find on the author's Bio page. (Saunders Bio) Briefly summarize these stories and tell your prospects about them.

By themselves these stories are pretty interesting - but it's only when it eventually dawns on the media that The Same Person (the author) orchestrated ALL of these stories (and many more) himself - that's when the global firestorm of publicity will finally ignite.

Tell the people that you approach about how cool these stories are because even though they will be told as "fiction" in the book, they are all 100% true stories!

There are also other stories like these that will come out later. The author has been cooking up and building these real-life connections to the novel for several decades. So tell people that they are in the small select minority and that right now only a handful of people know about this aspect of the book and that this "method-writing" connection is likely to explode in the media someday after the book is out.

#2. The second selling point is that by pre-ordering the book, they will be helping you build your chain (and possibly win money) - they'll be helping the author get a publishing contract and they'll be helping the charities that the author will support if the book is successful. All this can happen with just Five bucks. It's more about the number of people being interested in seeing the book get published than it is about the money. That's why each $5 order is sooooooo appreciated!

#3. Even if your prospect says that they don't read books, surely they know someone who does - so you might point out that the book will make a great gift. The eBook can be read on a smart-phone, a tablet, a P.C. or MAC as well as the popular Kindle or Nook Readers.

One day, if this book becomes world-wide-famous - everyone who backed it here on Inkshares can proudly tell how they were part of this story way back when only a small group of people knew about it and that they played a very key role to ensure that it got published!

Some chain builders might wish to try the "Pay It Forward" method to build a chain. The chain starter can start the process by giving someone the book as a gift. You give the prospect the $5 or $20 in cash and offer to help them complete the online pre-order using their credit or debit card. Encourage them (but don't demand) to "pay it forward" by gifting the book to the next person who joins the chain.

I hope that all or some of this advice and "plan of attack" will inspire many of you to help me get the word out and Build Your Chains of Support!

I can't do THIS without YOUR HELP!

Kind regards,

The eternally grateful (to you),

Rich Saunders
